Tristen Seidl Ruled Eligible at Arrowhead After Injunction Granted by Court Against WIAA

One of the biggest off-field stories early in the high school football season has been the status of Arrowhead High School’s Tristen Seidl. After a three-week court battle, Seidl is now eligible to play, just in time for the Warhawks’ Classic 8 Conference opener against Waukesha West.

The Seidls filed for a temporary restraining order Aug. 19 against a WIAA Board of Control ruling from Aug. 15, which had denied a waiver for Seidl to play football at Arrowhead High School following a family move necessitated by a 2023 housefire.

Milwaukee Academy of Science Football Game vs Kenosha St. Joseph Canceled Following Aug. 29 Brawl

Following a brawl on Aug. 29 at St. Francis, the Milwaukee Academy of Science Novas no longer have a Week 3 opponent. Their game against Kenosha St. Joseph has been canceled, with Kenosha St. Joseph now playing at home against Racine Lutheran.

Racine St. Catherine’s game against Brown Deer is still on the schedule for Sept. 5.
